A number of children from 4 to 14 years, joined us from all over Leicestershire for the two morning workshops over the Easter holidays. View their varied T-shirt designs and lovely felted vessels.
The Children selected from oil pastel, felt pen, collage and photocopied pictures to create the images for their designs. Once complete, these where scanned and printed onto the
t- shirts provided. All the individual designs were mounted in card frames for the children to take away with them.
Well done to you all!
At the vessel workshop, Alison Linnell of Feltings, guided the children through the magical stages of felt making. First they layered the coloured wool, soaping, wetting and rubbing it to change the 2D shape in front of them into a 3D form. So busy we all were, we hardly noticed the wintry weather (snow) outside! Thank you Alison, another lovely session!
